Bench Rest

Being a WW2 history buff. Ive often referred to the 223 grain bullet family as the “P-40″.
Seemed an appropriate name as the P-40 was the first fast pursuit fighter to enter the fight in the Burma Theater of operations. I knew I had a stone cold winner on my hands the moment I saw the first test groupings printed by the P-40 and was thrilled to see them make it in the market.
They delivered far more than I had anticipated after I closed the cylinder of the 629 with then for the first time.
I knew each customer would be made a believer…. She did exactly that. Just as the P-40 of then became synonymous with the Flying tigers, this flying ashtray became synonymous with Venom Ballistics.

Its high time to begin building the air force to include the P-47 and B-24 families of fine cast hollow point bullets.
In the coming month, I hope to launch both in a variety of calibers to include 41, 44 45lc 45 auto and the mighty 500 magnum.
The P-47 family is to be designed as a heavier harder hitting hollow point intended to have a split personality between a reasonable cost standard ball and a solid performing hunter.
B-24 family, “the Liberator” is to be a solid performing hand launched freight train for those who know, cast bullets perform.

We are running slightly behind schedule here at Venom ballistics. We’ve fought through a good handful of tooling issues and have resumed our product development.
We are soon to release the B - 24 Liberator in 44 caliber. I have high hopes for this offering.
It is a 276 grain truncated cone hollow point of remarkably clean design that will lend itself very well to the sportsman. thus far testing has occurred using 17.8 grains of 2400 with outstanding results. testing to include H110 will happen soon prior to its official release. So far it has displayed the accuracy necessary for use at extended ranges with the cleanliness of design to retain the energy necessary for clean kills at these ranges.
It’s heavy weight and clean profile will likely also prove rather desirable with sabots in muzzle loading.

The 44 caliber B-24 will soon be followed by a 500 magnum caliber P-40 series.

I am very pleased to announce the release of the 44 caliber B-24 Liberator Hollow point.

Ive added an old classic to the list of offerings. The 525 grain 12 gauge sledgehammer sabot slug.
While it deviates from my usual policy of in house designed hardware, I just could not substantively improve upon this highly effective Lyman design.

Also in the Venom Ballistics news, we have a 151 grain .357 hollow point that has been sent out for independent testing, and should join the ranks as the P-47A.

Our .357 cal P-47 family is now available by special request in a model, for 38 special and in B model for 357 magnum.

For quite some time now we have been assisting the research and development department of Creepingdeath RC and may soon begin to cary some of their products to include a few items that fall outside their manufacturing capacities.

We like their style and their ambitions
